We worked hard to balance rustic and nerdy for our Star Wars Wedding Cakes and Sweets Table. We wanted a nerdy wedding without it feeling like a kid’s birthday party.

The motto we kept repeating to ourselves was this: Star Wars, but make it Classy!

Star Wars Wedding Cakes

This weding cake was not only delicious, it was beautiful. I loved the naked look and how it played with the rustic setting. I found both the Cutting Knife set and the Topper on Etsy. I loved how simple the Topper was while still bringing in the Star Wars theme. The knife set also did a great job of balancing that rustic and Star Wars look I wanted to badly.

Star Wars Groom’s Cake

This was one of my favorite details of the entire wedding. First of all Freddy especially loved his Death Star Grooms cake. It was especially made with his favorite flavors, blueberry and funfetti and made by my Aunt with some assistance from my sister. It honestly came out perfect. I feel like it didn’t get a chance to really shine, I mean they even added lights to the cake stand! This Groom’s cake was out of this galaxy.

Star Wars Sweets Table

So many cute details went into these sweets! We wanted the sweets table to have “movie theatre” finger foods so we went with popcorn, some cupcakes, some candy and some small sweets in cups.

To create the little toppers on the sweets we sent the catering company some of our Star Wars Engagement photos and some other cute images and they somehow got them printed on sugar or something. I have no idea how they did it but it was such a unique and beautiful touch.

Since we were incorporating Star Wars through out engagement photos and the other images on the sweets we went with a more “classy rustic” set up. Brining in lots of whites and gold and a little wood to play with the venue which is more rustic.
