Some detail shots of Freddy as he got ready. I honestly really love how this all came together for our Star Wars Wedding.
We were thankfully able to get everything ordered just in time for the wedding, it was terrifying and my advice to anyone is to start thinking about the suits early, especially if you’re doing anything a little more custom or complicated, complicated including almost any kind of color or unique style. To those that are having weddings with black suits, you’re going to have a much easier time than any of us with the suits and jacket style options.

Men’s Warehouse Purchases:

Things not bought at Men’s warehouse:
We decided to go with primarily black accents, like black pocket square, black pants, black bowtie. We felt that the black with the suede and burgundy color created a classy almost James Bond kind of vibe. It also played up the dark side kind of feels. We both loved it.
We almost got everything crossed off at the Men’s Warehouse but I was missing some key things, one being the cufflinks, the other was the socks and possibly the bowtie. I admit I loved seeing all the Star Wars bowtie ideas online but when ever I pictured them on the suede suit I didn’t like it, Freddy agreed. We wanted to include star Wars as much as possible but not if it took away from the suit.
We ended up opting for gold Yoda cufflinks that I found on Etsy and Freddy actually threw me a curve ball. I thought it would be fun to get him Boba Fett socks. I found an entire pack of Van Gogh style Star wars Socks, with Boba Fett included. He actually ended up wearing the Yoda socks that were included, and I loved it.
